About ACM-W

ACM-W is ACM’s Council on Women in Computing. ACM-W aims to support, celebrate, and advocate internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field. The focus of ACM-W is to inspire, motivate and encourage women for joining the field of computing and eventually sustain and grow in the profession. The goal of the ACM-W student chapter is to facilitate the technical growth of women by organizing invited lectures, seminars, workshops, and informal meetings. It provides support to women in their professional career growth and helps them to face the challenges in their work environment.
